Located on famous Lockhart Road and instantly recognisable with its unique kennel facade, The Doghouse is on course to become the city’s most popular sports venue featuring six wide screen TV’s, an extensive mouthwatering pub-style menu and leggy staff decked out in kilts!
Featuring a breathtaking twenty-foot cathedral ceiling, dark wood furnishings, textured wall coverings and a unique collection of themed poster memorabilia, The Doghouse has also launched a range of novel merchandise items, including polo shirts and t-shirts, guaranteed to summon fond memories (or not!) of time spent “in The Doghouse”!
The Project
Every month the doghouse would give us a call, needing posters for the various activities they are organizing. In order to keep loyal customers excited, they constantly need to refresh their menus and decorations. For this project, we were to redesign they aging promotional material. The blue stripes is my idea inspired by TGI Friday’s red color scheme, this gives a nice sport bar feel, with some sharp contrasting vectors to bring out the vibrant mood of the restaurant.
