Yesterday afternoon, our design degree leader, Charles, came into our classrom and said ‘Ok, BDP 3 students, tomorrow Mel Gibson is coming and we need 400 design students to attend his speech, this is not a joke’. (BDP 3 means Bachelor Degree in Professional Design Semester 3).

To be honest, I don’t know much about them. So I did a little research the night before. Bruce Davey is a born Australian working as a producer in the states, he is credited for producting films such as Braveheart (with Mel Gibsonin the lead role), The Passion of the Christ and Apocalypto. For those of the same generation as me might not have heard much about Mel Gibson, except for The Passion of the Christ and Apocalypto, and the anti-semitic scandal popularized by weekly news magazines but ask your dad or mom, maybe they will remember they liked him back from the movie Braveheart.
